Havn't died yet.
I've been in the US since the 1st.
Been busy. Not writing, paying attention to the internet or my usual blogs, nothing.
I have discovered the Wizkids Pirate game with the little plastic pirate ships. Jen and I spent a silly amount of money on them.
Also been cooking.
And doing other stuff, but further deportment sayeth not.

How did the chicken come out?
My wife and I have played that game. Unfortunately, we have an aversion to collectible (anything) games.
What is really nice is that you can punch the ships back into their cards.
I just wish the tech had been around for Crimson Skies.
Check your email.

But we know. And we are soooo happy for you two Love Birds. :-))))
I liked the last line, too.
A nice, discreet way of putting it. :) It's so fun to see ya'll together again.
Those cardstock ships are the worst form of gamer crack yet invented - at elast for those with a predilection for miniatures. Naturally I have a large fleet...
I know John's an old wargaming hand, so I'll point out that for a whopping $3.50 you can get the Heart of Oak rules (an old FGU game) as a PDF. One of the best set of rules for sailing ships out there, basicly a set of sailing rules with gunnery and crew management added in.

Save that for after The World. Back in Iraq it'll probably be the only practical miniatures game, put the ships back in the cards and a large fleet fits into a notebook.
And damn well be careful when you get back there John.
Leaves are for enjoyment. Spend the money.
Enjoy yourselves, unwind.
And as Michael said, be careful when you return to the 'box.
