Mr. Grodner is being prosecuted for keying the car of a US Marine, causing $2,400 in damages. He is attempting to beat the charges because the Marine in question is deploying to Iraq and he believes that his status as a lawyer and the Marine's imminent deployment makes him immune to prosecution.
Like any good criminal, it turns out he's got a record. Voter fraud.

I don't know what you're considering 'his breed' to be, but let me just add my Noo Yawk lib'rul voice to others on this:
This man is SCUM. This man is beyond scum. He is a coward and an insult to the dog feces he masquerades as.
I don't care how you feel about the war, you a)do not go fucking up someone else's property, b)do not go violating the law and hiding behind procedural bullshit as an officer of the court, and most fucking importantly c)you do not go being an asshat at people who are willingly putting themselves in harm's way for your sake and c1)you most CERTAINLY do not do that and then try to USE the fact that they're doing so as your means to weasel out of facing up to what you did.
This man deserves to be gelded.
With a spoon.
A rusty one.
