I really don't know what to say about that. It makes my brain hurt.

Except, of course, when the folks doing the bleeding are black Christians and the folks causing the bleeding are Arab Muslims. Then we pretend it isn't happening. Because if we were to admit that Muslims were engaging in genocide and slave raiding, then we might have to admit that maybe all is not peachy-keen in the Dar al-Islam.
And of course, we can't rely on the Muslims to clean their own house, because everything that happens in Darfur is sanctioned by the Quran.

After all, this isn't NEARLY as important as some more speculation about who 'really' killed Jonbenet Ramsey.
And finally, if you are a believer in the Democratic Party, and think national elections should be able to go either way, get down on your bony liberal knees and hope something like this really happens, because otherwise the Democrats will be lucky to get the White House in your children's lifetime. And if they do, it will be the end of the United States as a Great Power, possibly as a free country.

As far as the Democratic Party goes, the polls say otherwise. I can easily see the Dems taking control of one of the houses. The best hope is that once they do, they manage to shoot themselves in the foot in time for 2008.
